Karela In Tomato Gravy
Preparation:
1) Finely chop Onion, Tomato & Green Chilies.
2) In Pressure cooker, Place Washed Karela, 1 Teaspoon Salt & 0.5 cup water.
3) On medium flame, 2 whistle pressure cook.
Cooking:
1) Heat Oil on medium low flame.
2) Add Cumin Seeds, chopped Onion, chopped Tomato, chopped Green Chilies, salt to taste and Stir well.
3) Add Turmeric Powder, Coriander Cumin Powder, Red Chili Powder, Garam Masala Powder, Curry Powder & Salt.
4) Stir well for 15 Seconds.
5) Add 1 cup of Water, Place boiled Karela, sugar & Mix thoroughly.
6) Cover & cook for approx 5 min.
7) Until require consistency.
Serve For: 5 Persons
Total cooking time: 40 mins.
Garnishing:
Serve hot with Deep Chapati.
