Cooking Method

  1. In a large bowl or similar vessel add up the required quantity of sugar, oil, and milk. Keep on the string of the mixture till sugar gets dissolved.

  3. Convert this mix of dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Now, take the required quantity of lemon juice and mix it all.

Steps for preparation

  2. Add 1 cup of salt or sand or baking soda as the bottom layer in your cooker so as it doesn’t get black. Don’t forget to remove the rubber and whistle from the cooker.
  3. Let the cooker heat for about 5 mins before you add that mush into it.


Wet Ingredients

  • Milk – ¾ cup
  • Sugar – ½ cup
  • Oil – ¼ cup (It should be any flavourless oil)
  • Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
  • Mango pulp or syrup– 1 tablespoon or ½ cup in case of mango pulp.

Dry Ingredients

  • Maida (Refined wheat flour) – 1 ¼ cup
  • Baking soda – ¼ tablespoon
  • Baking powder – 1 tablespoon
  • Salt – 1/8 tablespoon

2.   Diet Pumpkin Halwa

Cooking Method

  1. Take enough amount of ghee in a vessel. When the vessel gets heated add up the pumpkins and brew it for nearly 5 minutes.
  2. After that add on the milk in such quantity that it get immersed in it and cook it.
  3. Mix it well by adding sugar-free, cardamom spice & saffron strands.
  4. Cook it at medium temperature until flames appear from the sides of the vessel.

  • Well chopped red pumpkins – 1 cup
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Saffron strands – few in amount
  • Cardamom spice – ¼ tablespoon
  • Sugar-free – 1 tablespoon
  • Ghee – 1 to 2 tablespoons
  • Dry fruit – As per requirement

3.   Coconut Barfi

Cooking Method

  1. Take well-grated coconut into a non-stick pan and let it heat at medium temperature.
  2. Brew it till you get the smell of coconut flavour & take care that it doesn’t get brown colour.
  3. Add cardamom and condensed milk, keep on brewing continuously for about 5-10 minutes till all the things roll out a ball.
  4. Generally, barfis are white in appearance but add colour if required & then switch off the stove.
